1. 2015 Revenue Sharing Report Forms

Forms for the 2015 certification of property tax deductions and veteran
deductions are now available in the Tax Collector document library. As in
the past, the forms should be printed out and then completed. Collectors
should mail the completed paper forms with original signatures to the county
boards of taxation. The boards, in turn, shall mail hard copies to the
Division of Taxation. For QUESTIONS or ASSISTANCE with the forms, please
contact Jessica Lanna at (609) 943-4399. For assistance with access to the
document library, please email

2. ABC Clearance Certificates Now Available Online

The Alcoholic Beverage Retail Licensee Clearance Certificates (Renewals) for
2015-2016 have been updated. Municipal Clerks can view licenses that have
been cleared and available for printing in the GovConnect Links section of
the website. Be aware, that you must have a renewal clearance in order to
pass your resolution for the 2015-2016 year. Should a licensee not have
clearance, IMMEDIATLY contact the licensee and advise them you have not
received their renewal clearance. Please advise them they can: a) Contact
the caseworker they are currently corresponding with at the New Jersey
Division of Taxation or b) If they are not corresponding with a caseworker,
tell them to contact the closest field office and speak to a "Field
Investigator": Neptune (732)869-8057, Camden (856)614-2628, Fair Lawn
(201)791-1010, Newark (973)648-4700, Somerville (908)704-3070, Northfield
(609)645-6687, Quakerbridge (609)588-3934. Statuses will not be discussed
with the Clerk. If a licensee has transferred their license after December
31, 2014 and you have BOTH a Renewal Clearance in the name of the prior
licensee AND an Alcoholic Beverage Retail Licensee Clearance Certificate
(Transfer) to the current licensee in your possession, they are in
compliance and can be renewed. Should an active licensee obtain a renewal
clearance and the final meeting before September 18, 2015 has passed, they
must obtain an ad-interim to get them to the next meeting in order to
continue to sell alcohol.

3. 2014 PTR Application Deadline Extension

The Property Tax Reimbursement (Senior Freeze) Program, now in its 17th
year, reimburses qualified applicants for the property tax increases they
incur each year. Applicants must continue to meet all the income eligibility
and residency requirements and must file an application each year to receive
the reimbursement. The Division of Taxation has extended the application
deadline from June 1, 2015 to October 15, 2015.

4. Integrity Oversight Monitor Act

On March 30, 2013 the Governor signed into law the Integrity Oversight
Monitor Act, which directs the Treasurer to appoint integrity oversight
monitors for any Sandy recovery and rebuilding project involving a contract
that is $5 million or greater, if federal funding is available to cover the
costs of the monitor. A memo has been issued as a reminder of each agency's
continuing obligation to promptly report to the Department of the Treasury
any time it anticipates a recovery contract will exceed $2 million.
