On behalf of Rutgers Business School's Master's Program in Governmental accounting and the Center for Governmental Accounting Education and Research, you are invited to attend this one day conference.

The purpose of the conference is to bring leaders in public financial management to address the most pressing issues and provide an update on current regulations, accounting pronouncement, auditing issues and other subjects of interest.  Participants will learn about current state fiscal matters from the NJ State Treasurer, the NJ State Auditor and the Director of Local Government Services, as well as get an update on auditing, accounting and financial management issues, including the latest GASB pronouncements and governmental auditing issues.  Presentations by notable speakers from the fields of government accounting, auditing and other financial management areas are featured.  Approximately 150 government auditors, accountants and financial professionals attend the conference each year.  Prerequisites and advance preparation for the conference are not required.  The conference offers 8.0 CPE credit hours for CPAs, RMAs and for Municipal and County Finance Officers:  5 CPEs in Accounting and Auditing (Governmental), 1 CPE in Budgeting and 2 CPEs in Finance and Debt Management.
