FY 2018 Budget Proposal

On Thursday April 7, 2017, the Office of Legislative Services (OLS) and State Treasurer Ford M. Scudder appeared before both the Senate and Assembly budget committees to discuss the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Budget proposed by Governor Christie.  OLS revenue estimates are $436 million less than Governor Christie’s budget.  Specifically, OLS revenue estimates tax collection could fall $213 million below Governor Christie’s budget proposal for FY 2018.  The FY 2018 Budget will be passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor on July 1, 2017.
