Judge Vito Bianco recently issued a tax court decision which applied this state’s property tax exemption law to a non-profit hospital and determined that said hospital no longer was able to receive a property tax exemption. The effect of this case has been the topic of conversation between tax assessors, attorneys, local elected officials, legislators and hospital officials for months. There have been many questions raised about this case. To help answer them, we invite you to participate in this webinar. An overview of the decision and what it can mean for your town will be discussed as well as the status of any legislation regarding this case.
